Ingredients
  • 6 cups large flake oats
  • 3 cups barley flakes
  • 1 cup oat bran
  • 2 cups unsweetened coconut
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cup hazelnuts (or walnuts, or pecans), chopped
  • 2 cup almonds
  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/3 cups maple syrop
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups dried cranberries
  • 1 cup dried blueberries
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients and nuts. Whisk together wet ingredients and then combine with the dry.
  2. Spread onto baking sheets (in as many batches as needed). Bake at 250′ for 20 – 30 minutes. Stir every 10 or so minutes, making sure that it bakes evenly.
  3. Stir in the dried fruit once cool.
  4. Makes 16 cups.
