Ingredients
- 6 cups large flake oats
- 3 cups barley flakes
- 1 cup oat bran
- 2 cups unsweetened coconut
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cup hazelnuts (or walnuts, or pecans), chopped
- 2 cup almonds
- 1 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/3 cups maple syrop
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups dried cranberries
- 1 cup dried blueberries
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients and nuts. Whisk together wet ingredients and then combine with the dry.
- Spread onto baking sheets (in as many batches as needed). Bake at 250′ for 20 – 30 minutes. Stir every 10 or so minutes, making sure that it bakes evenly.
- Stir in the dried fruit once cool.
- Makes 16 cups.
