Ingredients
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cinammon
- 3 cups flour (approx.)
Instructions
- Cream the butter and sugar. Add the molasses and eggs. Add milk.
- Dissolve soda in warm water and stir into mixture.
- Sift 1 cup flour with spices and salt and add slowly to wet ingredients. Add flour slowly to make batter stiff as desired, about 2 cups.
- Bake at 375*F in gem tins (greased muffin tins) or in a loaf pan. Not sure about the cook time.
