Ingredients
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp cinammon
  • 3 cups flour (approx.)
Instructions
  1. Cream the butter and sugar. Add the molasses and eggs. Add milk.
  2. Dissolve soda in warm water and stir into mixture.
  3. Sift 1 cup flour with spices and salt and add slowly to wet ingredients. Add flour slowly to make batter stiff as desired, about 2 cups.
  4. Bake at 375*F in gem tins (greased muffin tins) or in a loaf pan. Not sure about the cook time.
