Ginger Snaps
Ingredients
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup melted butter or shortening
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 1/2 cups flour (or enough to make soft dough)
Instructions
- Pinch off pieces the size of large marbles. Roll in a ball in your hands and place far apart on buttered tins.
- Cool batter and you’ll find it is much easier to handle.
