Kay’s Welsh Cakes
Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 1 1/4 sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 1/4 cups currants or raisins
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Mix like pie dough. Roll to 1/4-1/2 inch thick, cut and fry in ungreased pan at 350*F.
