Kay’s Welsh Cakes
Ingredients
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 1/4 sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 1/4 cups currants or raisins
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
  1. Mix like pie dough. Roll to 1/4-1/2 inch thick, cut and fry in ungreased pan at 350*F.
